Principal

Miss Lundy started dancing when she was 6 years old and continued her training at Nesta Brookings and The Royal Ballet School, graduating in 1983 with The Royal Ballet School Teaching Diploma, Benesh Teaching Certificate and Royal Academy of Dance Registered Teacher Status. Whilst dancing as a Cecchetti Scholar, Miss Lundy was awarded the Junior and Senior Mabel Ryan Awards, The Nancy Graham Award (most promising Junior Scholar) and the Sally Stewart Award (most promising Senior Scholar). Miss Lundy has always loved teaching and started her dance school in 1984.  To develop her understanding of young children, she trained as Montessori Directress and since 1997 has run her own Montessori School in South West London. Miss Lundy is one of the first teachers worldwide to have been awarded full affiliation status by The Royal Ballet School, for the Affiliate Assessment and Training Programme (The Royal Ballet School’s System of Training for children who dance recreationally). She is also a mentor and practical teaching supervisor for the RAD and is a certified Alixa Flexibility Instructor.

Chloe Chapman ISTD DDE Ballet, Tap and Modern

Ballet, Tap, and Modern Dance Teacher

Chloe started her training at the Deborah Capon School of Dance, before joining Bird’s College. At Bird’s, Chloe studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Acting. She returned to Deborah Capon to gain her teaching qualifications with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and also became a part of the TapAttack Associate Squad.

Andrew Ashton

Tap Teacher and Festival Coaching

Andrew started dance lessons at The Red Shoes School of Dance in Yorkshire and went on to complete his professional training at Laine Theatre Arts. Having graduated with Distinction in Tap, Ballet, Modern and Jazz, and the pre-Associate teaching qualification, Andrew was selected to dance in Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake, internationally. His teaching experience includes The National Youth Theatre and The Talentz Theatre Company.

Isadora Wainwright

Aerobic Gymnastics Coach and Children’s Party Manager

Isadora trained at Frances Lundy School of Dance from 2 years of age, in Ballet, Tap and Modern. She took her graded examinations in all styles and at 14, successfully auditioned for The Brit School, staying there until she was 16. At the same time, Isadora was also a member of the British Aerobic Gymnastic Team, achieving British Champion status and travelling to many countries competing as an individual, trio and six team. Isadora has first class honours degree and Masters in Psychology and Criminology and is currently undertaking a Doctorate in Psychotherapy.

Lucy Chester BA (Hons) Dance, ISTD, DDE Tap & Modern

Tap and Modern Dance Teacher

Lucy is a fully qualified ISTD (DDE) Tap and Modern dance teacher. She started dancing at a young age training in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Hip Hop, and Contemporary at Vanessa Golborne School of Dance. She went on to complete a BA (Hons) Dance studies degree in London and after danced in the commercial industry around the world before becoming a teacher. 

Grace English  BA (Hons) Ballet Education, LRAD, DDI

RAD Ballet Teacher

Grace grew up in Drogheda, Ireland where she began studying ballet, modern theatre, tap and contemporary dance. She moved her training to Dublin in 2014 where she studied contemporary dance at CoisCéim Dance Theatre as well as studying for the ISTD teaching qualifications at Inchicore College of Further Education; she also continued her vocational ballet and modern theatre examinations to advanced 1 and advanced 2 standards respectively.  Grace is a graduate of the RAD, gaining a first-class degree in ballet education as well as the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance with Distinction.

Marina Flores

Ballet Teacher RTS

Marina started dancing at the Professional Conservatory of Seville (Spain), before moving to Zaragoza to continue her training in ballet and contemporary dance at the Maria de Avila Dance Studio. At the same time, she had the chance to participate in numerous courses and masterclasses around Europe and the US. Marina has performed in excerpts from the great ballets of the classical repertoire: Giselle, Coppèlia, Bayadere, The Sleeping Beauty, Le Corsaire, Raymonda, and Don Quixote. She also obtained a Masters Degree in Art History.

Marina moved to London to take part in professional dance projects and studied the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies and Certificate in Benesh Movement Notation at  The Royal Academy of Dance. She is a RAD registered teacher.

Venetia-Rose BA Hons, AATQB, MAAT

Business Manager and Accounts

Venetia started training in dance at The Frances Lundy School of Dance and then went on to The BRIT School for Performing Arts to study Dance & Media. She gained a Degree in Radio & Media Production at Westminster University. Having worked in both radio and talent management, Venetia-Rose decided she would like to train in Management Accounting and now manages the studio and financials, whilst studying towards her CIMA qualification. Venetia is a certified Alixa Flexibility Instructor.

Brook Ogle BFA Dance Performance

Brook Ogle received her primary training from the Alabama School of Fine Arts and Briarwood Ballet in Birmingham, Alabama, USA before graduating with honors with a BFA in Dance Performance from Butler University. Brook has danced professionally with City Ballet of San Diego, Nashville Ballet, Charleston Ballet Theatre, Hosanna Sacred Arts, and as a guest artist with Ballet Internationale, dancing such roles as Myrtha in Giselle, Dew Drop Fairy, and Snow Princess in The Nutcracker, Tiger Lily in Peter Pan, Big Swans in Swan Lake, and has been featured in ballets by George Balanchine such as First Pas de Trois in Agon, Allegro Brillant, Serenade, Rubies, Emeralds, and Donizetti Variations. Brook served 4 years as the director and choreographer for City Ballet 2, which functions as the junior company to City Ballet of San Diego. She has also served as choreographer and youth cast rehearsal director for The Nutcracker at City Ballet of San Diego, choreographer for the performance ensemble at San Diego Civic Youth Ballet, and has taught regularly teacher at City Ballet School and San Diego Civic Youth Ballet.

Joeley Gibson

Joeley began to dance at the age of three. From 14 she trained at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and obtained a DipHe in Professional Dance from Trinity Laban in 2021. In 2022, she graduated from drama school and is excited for where her blended experience will take her, having appeared at Omnibus, Bridge House and Brighton Fringe. She’s excited to work with the talented children of Frances Lundy and help ignite the same passion! Joeley tutors Ballet, Tap and Beginners Gymnastics.
